Produced in conjunction with Artspace’s “The Public Body” this performance produced a radical encounter between body, sculpture and plinth. Often considered an inert structure, the plinth was transformed into a volatile wedge that pushed back at the objects it has traditionally supported. The resulting action was a constant negotiation where the body responded to the plinth's new agency and the sculptures in between yielded to the will of these contesting forces.
