This project was a satire on 1960s/70s performance art. Performing as the hyper-male patriarch Renny Kodgers I took a sauna in a purpose built structure at Chalkhorse Gallery, Sydney. As the temperature rose Renny exchanged his most intimate bodily fluids in one of the most generous artistic displays in the history of Australian art. Each pore was completely dilated releasing a torrent of unfettered visceral information. This was an opportunity for any person, animal or thing to engage with Renny on level previously unheard of. Bodies were obliterated in a swell of sweat; building new relationships and creating new levels of interpersonal engagement.
